one•n•ten is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to serving and assisting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. Their goal is to “provide youth with tools to improve self-esteem and self-acceptance”. They are a longstanding organization in the valley, and offer resources for healthy living, healthy choices, and social activities to build leadership skills.one•n•ten’s main headquarters in downtown Phoenix, Az was the unfortunate victim of an office fire on July 12th of this year, the cause was later determined to be the result of arson. No one was injured, but the organization lost many of their resources including electronics and camping equipment. The outpouring from the community has been remarkable, and Answer1 wanted to help.The same building one•n•ten operates out of is very familiar to us; up until August of 2002, it was the office Answer1 called home. Now, with our new offices located just a few blocks away, we felt the need to help contribute to the repairs for this organization that serves the youth throughout our community. Our call center and marketing team worked to maintain excellent service standards to help raise money and set donations for business achievements.On September 13th, Answer1 CEO Parker Davis announced:”Because of everyone’s hard work, we will be donating $1,000 to one•n•ten, our neighbor non-profit organization which experienced a terrible fire. Both sales and operations contributed by successfully reaching new business and complaint thresholds! This donation will no doubt help as they rebuild for a stronger tomorrow. Thank you for your hard work!”one.n.ten Executive Director Linda Elliott said “It’s just been an incredible response from the community” and thanked everyone who has donated. On September 20th, one•n•ten celebrated their Grand Reopening and is looking forward to serving the community in the future.
